Spoonerisms

Spoonerisms are words or phrases in which letters or syllables get swapped. This often happens accidentally in slips of the tongue (or tips of the slung as Spoonerisms are often affectionately called!):

1-Tease my ears (Ease my tears)

2-A lack of pies (A pack of lies)

3-It's roaring with pain (It's pouring with rain)

4-Wave the sails (Save the whales)

5-Cat flap (Flat cap)

6-Bad salad (Sad ballad)

7-Mean as custard (Keen as mustard)

8-Plaster man (Master plan)

9-Pleating and humming (Heating and plumbing)

10-Trim your snow tail (Trim your toe nails)

11-Trail snacks (Snail tracks)

12-Bottle in front of me (Frontal Lobotomy)

13-Sale of two titties (Tale of two cities)

14-Rental Deceptionist (Dental Receptionist)

15-Flock of bats (Block of flats)

16-Chewing the doors (Doing the chores)

17-fighting a liar ~lighting a fire

18-you hissed my mystery lecture ~you missed my history lecture
