Palindromes
Palindromes are words or phrases that read the same in both
directions, e.g. EYE,or
RACECAR, or MADAM I'M ADAM. Here are
a few good ones:
1-Was
it Eliot's toilet I saw?
2-Murder for a jar of red rum.
3-Some
men interpret nine memos.
4-Never odd or even.
5-King, are you glad you are king?
6-Fall
leaves after leaves fall.
7-Says
Mom, "What do you do?" – You do what Mom says.
8-You
know, I did little for you, for little did I know you.
9-First Ladies rule the State, and state the rule: "ladies
first."
10-Please me by standing by me please.
11-Blessed are they that believe they are blessed.
12-Escher, drawing hands, drew hands drawing Escher.
13-You
can cage a swallow, can't you, but you can't swallow a cage,
can you?
14-Did
I say you never say "never say never"? You say I did.
